We, like trees, need healthy roots that reach deep into Living Water. Living water is pictured in Ezekiel as flowing from under the Temple of God, and in Revelation as a River of Life proceeding out of the throne of God. Jesus also speaks of Living Water, saying, “Whoever believes in Me, as scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.” And so, how are your roots? Are they healthy and reaching into and drinking deep from Living Water? “And so, Lord, where do I put my hope?”
